This section of the website is especially for people interested in starting to play golf. Golf in Poland is a fairly new sport so there is lots of beginer golfers like yourself.
The first step in learning to play golf is obviously taking some golf lessons. Below is a few frequently asked questions by new golfers about golf lessons:
1. Do l need to have my own equipment to have a golf lesson?
No, as golf is a new sport in Warsaw, at First Warsaw Golf and Country
Club we supply you with golf clubs and balls (this is included in the
lesson price, no extra cost) David will also give you advice on what golf
clubs are right for you when you feel its time to buy your own golf clubs.
2. What should l wear to the lesson?
Comfortable shoes is important, runnners or sneakers for example. Also
for men a collored polo shirt is considered appropiate. Other than that
something casual and comfortable thats not going to restrict your golf
swing.
3. How much is a golf lesson?
Prices vary from 50 pln (see below for group beginner course) upwards

4. What can l expect to learn?
When beginning you will learn the grip, stance, alignment and swing. How
to play a varity of shots, for example, full swing, chipping, putting,
bunkers, irons, and woods.
Lesson objectives also cover: Correct practise habits, Basic rules and
etiquette of the game, Procedure for playing on the course, membership
etc.
